- Troubleshooted Lee Webber's laptop remote access issue. - Verified SonicWall Global VPN Client is functional and connected. - Unable to interface into his desktop PC, ping not showing desktop PC IP. - Contacted Kevin no answer, contacted CHU for assistance to check SonicWall configuration, configuration is OK. - Isolated problem to desktop PC's firewall settings by pinging other devices in the network. Successfully pinged all other devices except desktop PC, Verified problem is the firewall. - Enabled RDP inbound rules in Firewall advanced settings on the desktop PC. - Retested RDP access from laptop, connection successful. Verified it by signing out on both devices and reconnecting again. Connection is OK.
