Summary of Tasks

- Troubleshooted Lenovo workstation, reported not able to boot. - Removed all RAM sticks to force BIOS beeps on post, beeps found, power is working. - Placed back 1 stick of RAM to isolate sticks, no display upon post. Tried the other 1 stick of RAM, same symptoms. - Disconnected Power Cable from PSU, removed all RAM sticks. Performed hard CMOS reset using the CMOS jumper, removed residual power by power cycling. - Placed back the 2 RAM sticks and connected the power cable. System was able to post. Observed slowdowns during initial windows log in screen, Disk Usage indicator light is on consistently. - SSD is a Patriot based brand failure rate is common. Cloned the drive to a new same sized Patriot SSD. Booted up the system, runs stable. - Contacted Sophia, advised her of troubleshooting results. Advised that she will send someone tomorrow to pick up around 0900 - 0930.
