Informed him that the only solution is to replace motherboard in unit. Mr. Kim authorized replacement. - We made this cable for them earlier, but it creates serial errors when used. We need to rewire the cable according to the settings in the manual. The printer was used on an Apple using AppleTalk, but we just need it to work as a pc parallel. Remember to set the printer mode to serial before testing. Work Order: 03043 Date: 5-29-96 Work Requested: On Site - Testing & repair of network connection. Work Done: Using the Smart Print adapters, we tested the existing cables for continuity. We re-ran a wire from the concentrator, through the wall to the connection. It tested fine when connected to other connections, but not the one in question. We replaced the wall face plate, as well as the connection box in the ceiling, but no connection can be established.
