| 1 | Laptop screen does not show backlight. Port replicator not powering on. Notice white powder residue on USB port. Open up laptop and found evidence of corrosion. Replacement of system board will cost about $800-900. After reassembling the laptop it now boots but still display is not showing with backlighting. System board will need to be replaced. Michelle will purchase a Mini-HDMI to DVI cable. Will see if we can make it work as an desktop for the mean time. |
