Check 3CX Phone System and confirmed all IP Phones being used are supported hardware. Check codecs in use and confirmed codecs are set properly. Noted 3CX firewall checker passed noting firewall configuration is proper. test ping IP phones in various locations on campus and received less than 1ms ping time. Noted QoS is not enabled on the switches on campus and Patton SN4970 gateway firmware is not updated. Bryce advised that the choppy call issues are less frequent this week. Harvest to configure QoS on switches and upgrade Patton SN4970 firmware.
