- Customer reported keyboard malfunctioning randomly, advised it comes and go usually after waking from lid closing sleep trigger, also advised a spilled liquid might have caused something to it. - Tested keyboard functionality using Lenovo Diagnostic Tool at pre-OS load. Was able to go through the Full function of the troubleshooter which indicates keyboard functionality is ok. - Called the customer to obtain login credentials. Number keys verified and is working on login. - Tested OS functions, typing ability seems to be unaffected and was able to type properly after testing typable apps like Notepad, MS Office, Wordpad, and Windows UI. - Tested keyboard functionality after lid closure sleep trigger, was able to log in with PIN, keyboard keys are working. - Checked for possible updates and features, found multiple system and firmware updates, installed updates successful. - Verified system integrity using System File Check scan, no corrupted files found. Optimized and Trimmed the storage drive including Disk Cleanup. - Tested Audio and Web camera, test is OK. - Final testing using multiple restarts and sleep triggers, keyboard functionality is still maintained.
