1 Did Barrister service at University of Guam (Computer Center). Installed SPS-HP Ultrium 920 SCSI Int0 Tape Drive at UOG. Upon installing there was an issue on the HPE Rack Mount Kit Chassis. There was a power on the Rack Mount Chassis but there was no power output on the power supply running thru the tape drive. I used the other backup power wire to power up the drive, yet there was still no power output. I informed the System Administrator on duty about the issue and advised to replace the power supply of the HPE Rack Mount Kit. Earl James Flores

02/13/2019 03:42 pm Install Tape drive at UOG. During installation there was an issue on the enclosure, there was no power to turn on the tape drive with all the wires plugged. Tried the second backup power to turn on the tape drive and it’s still not operational. I informed MOD onsite about the situation. I was told that the last person who did the service on the tape drive was having issues and not getting power also. Told the MOD to Email HP Support to send in a new enclosure to replace the whole rack mount kit with the existing tape drive. Earl J.
