| 1 | Arrived site at 8:00am and was escorted by Christopher Iriarte (United). Identified server and removed failed server (MXQ51601S8). Contacted HPE Server Support to inform them that I am at site and proceeding to replace the system board and any other components required. Replaced System board and CPU1. Power up blade and Allen reported he is now able to see POST but with “Memory initialization error on Processor 1 Socket 1, Processor 2 Socket 1, and Processor 2 Socket 8”. Replaced memory for Processor 2 Socket 1 and Socket 8 with the spare memory DIMM. Upon rebooting CPU2 detected error, shutdown and replaced with old (removed) CPU1 into CPU2 socket. Rebooting POST was stuck on 10% during CPU initialization – Status Code 0168. Replaced CPU2 (old CPU1) and replace with old CPU2 processor. Removed the new memory DIMM for Processor 2 Socket 1 and 8 to be replace with the original DIMMs. Reseated all 16x 16GB DIMMs. Server finally boot up with no error reported. United MIS and HPE Server Support to consider this case #5338971599 closed. |
