| 1 | Arrived site and was escorted by Ginelle Tennessen. From trip 1 after replacing the maintenance kit we suspected the issue was with laser assembly due to no printout on left side and partial/very light printout on the right side. Replaced laser assembly and issue still remains. Did some troubleshooting. Replaced toner from another identical printer – result same. Replace transfer roller from another printer – result same. Notice a lot of toner residues collected under the transfer roller on the left side. Whatever amount of toner that is transferred to the paper is properly being fused therefore issue is not fuser assembly. Issue is with toner transfer area. Either the photo drum is not getting enough laser light energy to charge and pickup toner or power/charging issue of the high voltage power supply or DC controller PCA is defective. Stopping the printing half way in order to see the deposit of toner on the toner drum the prints are very light to none existing. |
